Stefan Schweiger is a member of the Academic Advisory Board of Authesis AG and, in this role, acts as a bridge builder between academic knowledge and entrepreneurial excellence.
With a PhD in mechanical engineering, he has over 30 years of management consulting expertise gained from his work as an employee (Mercer Oliver Wyman AG, Zurich; St. Gallen Consulting Group AG, St. Gallen; intra-Unternehmensberatung GmbH, Düsseldorf) and as a freelance consultant.
For over 20 years, he has worked as a professor and lecturer in the field of optimising operational value creation (HTWG Konstanz; Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts; University of St. Gallen; HWZ Zurich; Saint Mary's University, Halifax/Canada; University of Applied Sciences for Medium-Sized Companies, Bielefeld).
He also heads the Service Innovation Campus at HTWG Konstanz, which develops innovative service business models, solutions and processes for companies and connects stakeholders from business, science and associations.
For several years now, he has been particularly interested in the strategic and structural aspects of digital transformation and the realisation of the resulting opportunities and challenges for companies and their stakeholders.
In his free time, the father of three adult sons prefers to be on the move: on his racing bike, on skis, hiking in the mountains or catamaran sailing.
